I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was great with easy access to downtown and local attractions, and I truly enjoyed the renovated look of the place, especially the restaurant. However, my room had some cleanliness issues, and the service was far from accommodating, particularly regarding the shuttle situation that wasn’t as advertised.
I recently stayed at The Grand River for a business event and was overall quite pleased. However, the dining experience varied, with a fantastic catering service during the event but a disappointing breakfast on the last day. The cleanliness of the hotel was good, but there were some concerns about the condition of certain areas.
